Notre Dame vs Navy Predictions 2019 – 2:30 PM ET NBC
This is a no win situation for ND. ND always ends up with injuries playing Navy.
Navy brings in a super efficient running game and a real speedster at QB. Navy is averaging 47 points a game and all they have to do is stop ND one or 2 times, play keepaway, get a lead and then run the clock out.
Navy is 7-1 with a totally rebuilt defensive staff which so far is really effective.
So I look for the ND players trying to protect their knees while Navy runs right past them, This will be a big game for the Navy QB busting some long runs.

Notre Dame 44 Navy 22 – Recap and Highlights
Notre Dame came out fast in the first half, controlled the ball and stopped Navy from going anywhere leading to a 27-0 first half score.
ND coasted in the 2nd half allowing Navy to score its 22 points – just goes to show you can’t relax against Navy at anytime.
Ian Book had another excellent outing going 27/33 330 yards with 2 TD passes to Boykin. He did however have a horrible throw for a pick that eventually led to a Navy TD. Overall, however, this kid looks like the real deal and boy does he distribute the ball around.
Once again Dexter Williams was outstanding 23/142 yds and 3 TD’s. Jafar Armstrong caught 5 passes for 64 yds being a big asset coming out of the backfield. ND had 254 yards on the ground.
Personnel notes – Banks played LG while Ruhland replaced Kraemer at RG – so it looks as though the OL is now set.
Drue Tranquill hurt his ankle and Soph LB Drew White did a pretty good job as his replacement. I don’t think there are any other injuries which is great coming out of a Navy game.
Now sitting at 8-0 we’re coming to the money games which will determine ND’s Playoff picture.

Notre Dame vs Navy Predictions – San Diego 8PM EST CBS
Navy is 2-5 so it’s not the good Navy teams we’ve seen in the past. The problem with Navy is cut blocks which have always resulted in ND injuries.
ND defense has to get them off the field. Navy’s game is to eat the clock. As far as cut blocks – that can go both ways – give them a dose of it.
Ian Book should have a banner night and now with all the ND RB’s back we should run them crazy.
In that regard massive sophomore Aaron Banks – 6’6″ 325 lbs – has been inserted with the 1st team at LG. That gives us 2 big guys on the left side of the OL which should benefit our run game and help protect QB Book.
I see ND rolling in this mismatch.
