Brian Kelly has named Jack Coan his starting QB to face Florida State. Drew Pyne is 2nd on depth chart for now.

Jack Coan 6’3″ 221 lbs QB transferred from Wisconsin to ND. That brings a 4 Star who can make all the throws as well as see over the OL. He’s from Long Island NY and had a scholarship offer from ND for Lacrosse.
He was a 2 yr starter and participated in 25 games, played in all the Big 10 venues as well as bowl games. He missed the 2020 season due to a fractured foot. He also beat out 5 Star phenom Graham Merts.
He will bring stability in the QB room with 4 others who played sporadically if at all.
