USC 38 ND 27 – Recap and Highlights 2022

Well that season ended just as it started with a loss to a solid ranked team. And we once again handed the Heisman to a SC Quarterback named Caleb Williams who ran all over the ND defense. On that note I think Golden and Laurinaitis must go.

Tommy’s game plan didn’t work – the USC defense almost knew every play we were trying to run. Our RB’s totaled only 90 yards.

The bright spot for ND was Drew Pyne with 23/26 318 yds and 3 TD’s. Some beautiful passes, but 1 fumble and a pick ruined his best game as a ND QB. We’ll really miss Michael Mayer. I don’t think we’ll see another like him.

Better news – ND flipped 4 star QB from Pitt Kenny Minchie 6’3 205 lbs and 3 Star OL Chris Terek 6’6″ 305 lbs from Wisconsin.

There will be a final Bowl game then that is it for 2022 Team finishing 8-4.
