Spring Football Day 3

I was tempted to just show the first day in pads from 2 years ago. You learn absolutely nothing from watching this. All you see are a lot of guys running pass routes, QB’s throwing and some dreadful tackling. Outside of Nico Fertitta, everyone else just grabbed the runners heads, an excellent way to get run over.

DL Elijah Taylor had his foot operated on further depleting the DL.

Reports that Work Outs are now a lot more demanding leads one to believe that the previous regime was rather a slap dash affair. Here I’m reminded of DE Andrew Trumbetti. He hasn’t gotten much bigger, stronger or faster since his Freshman year – he has actually regressed.

Perhaps the most important player on this team is 2nd string QB Ian Book. I hope they are working extra hard with him, for we are dead if Wimbush gets hurt.

In other news Manti Teo is now with the Saints. He has been hurt every year since he went to the NFL.

Early betting odds ND is just favored by 7 points over Temple in Game 1.
