Do I look worried??

Well, lets see:

  • North Carolina – 50 points
  • Navy – 49 points
  • Arizona State – 55 points
  • Northwestern – 43 points

That’s an average of 49 points per game that ND is giving up and Louisville is certainly a better team than those listed above. Yet ND is favored by 3-4 points–don’t bet your house on this game.

I really don’t know where ND goes from here, the OL is a sieve and can’t run block nor pick up the blitz. Time to at least put McGlinchy at RT or just add him as the 6th lineman. Only way ND can win this game is a lights out performance by QB Golson an NO turnovers.

Defense is an absolute mess with injuries all over the place. So with 2 games left ND is burning a redshirt. Jay Hayes DL will play against Louisville.

ND currently has no ILB’s. Jaylon Smith should be moved to OLB and Drew Martini should replace him inside and call the defense signals.

Nyles Morgan should just go after the QB and protect the inside rush attack – no thinking, just chase the ball.

Louisville is good on both sides of the ball, not great but good overall with a mobile QB.

Kelly runs the only slow-mo spread offense in college football. Since Louisville is much better than NU, they should score more points. I’m thinking 52.

Louisville 52 Notre Dame 36
