As expected DE Adetokunbo Ogundeji 6’5″ 220lbs from Michigan makes it 13 for this class. This kid is a project and needs plenty of work, but then again their are slim pickings for ND as far as DL – so maybe a diamond in the rough. He was originally Western Michigan commit, but did enough
Canadian WR Chase Claypool is a 6’6″ 215lb 3 Star recruit from British Columbia now becomes the 2nd WR in the 2016 class. He can best be described as a bigger, faster Corey Robinson. He is quick and runs a 4.6 40. His stock is soaring after each camp he attends. He really has unlimited
Spencer Perry is a 6’3″ 205lb Safety that flipped from Florida to ND following his visit to Irish Invasion. Currently he is listed as 3 Star and he was pursued by both Michigan and OSU. Perry joins his Fla. HS RB Tony Jones in this class. Other News : Greg Bryant RB has been suspended
Brock Wright is a 6’5″ 245 lbs TE from Texas and he becomes the 2nd commit for that class. He is a 4 Star just entering his junior year and looks to be the top TE prospect. In addition, he already holds offers from Alabama, Michigan, LSU, Texas, Georgia and others. I Hope he sticks
Irish Invasion lands two 3 Star recruits: Safety/Corner Jalen Elliott 6’1″ 175 from Virginia. Highlight Video: W/R Kevin Stepherson 6’2″ 180 from Florida. Highlight Video: Both have a lot of offers from big time programs and most experts think both are under rated with the 3 Star tag. Hopefully this weekend produces some additional recruits.
It is not totally unexpected that EG is leaving ND to play his 5th year at another school. I think this deal was sealed when he lost the start against LSU. He also wasted everyone’s time at Spring Practice and did not seal the deal over Zaire. Something happened to Golson after the FSU game
