Ara Parseghian compiled a 95-14-4 record in his 10 years at ND and tacked on 2 National Championships. His 1966 Team was one of college footballs all time greats – came from behind to tie Michigan State 10-10 then trounced USC. While most fans remember the great battles with USC, Ara played 2 great games
It’s a long way to 2019, but getting a 4 Star DT is huge for ND. Jacob Lacey is a 6’3″ 300 lb DT from Kentucky. Offered by Michigan PSU and others. Hope he sticks, but you can bet Harbaugh will chase this kid to the last day. Here is his highlight video:
4 Star LB Jack Lamb 6’4″ 215 lbs from California selected ND over UCLA and PSU among many others. It is interesting that both of his parents went to PSU. So that’s 3 LB’s in the fold with just 5 spots left–need some DL!!! Here is his highlight reel:
Shayne Simon is a 4 Star recruit from St. Peter’s Prep in Jersey City, NJ. He joins 2 of his current teammates for the 2018 Class. Probably, he’ll be a 5 Star by end of this season. Currently standing at 6’3″ 215, he’s had offers from Michigan, OSU, PSU and Stanford. Current ND QB Brandon
Jahmir Smith is a 3 Star 6′ 200lb RB from North Carolina. His running style is comparable to a pounder. He has numerous offers including both the Carolina schools as well as Tennessee, Wisconsin and Minnesota. ND now has their 2 RB’s and if they are aiming for 20 there are only 7 spots open.
