If you were told that Cody Kessler passed 30/46 for 365 yards and 2 TD’s while the Trojans totaled 590 yards and lost, you would not believe it.

Strange, but ND pulled this one out by winning only the 1st and 4th quarters.

USC scored on their 1st possession then ND bombarded them with 21 points. Score tied at the half while ND adds 17 4th quarter points to wrap up the game.

This game had everything – long bombs, long runs, picks as well as a blocked FG for a ND TD by Carlisle.

Stars of the game were Kizer, Prosise, Fuller, St.Brown and Russell. Redfield came off the bench and had a pick. ND ended with 476 total yards.

Probably the most amazing thing is Kizer’s poise and he does throw a real pretty long ball. I can’t see Zaire or Wimbush passing him if he continues to play the way he has to date.

USC is still a really talented team, but at least for one night our stars outshone theirs and no one can cover Fuller.

Earlier in the year Stanford beat USC by the same score.
