ND and NFL Draft

Further to our previous post the following ND players landed a spot on NFL teams.

Probably as expected in the first three rounds:

• Round 4
  • Prince Shembo: pick #139 Atlanta Falcons
• Round 6
  • Bennett Jackson: pick #187 NY Giants
  • TJ Jones: pick #189 Detroit Lions
• Free Agents
  • Dan Fox: New York Giants
  • Carlo Calabrese: Cleveland Browns
  • George Atkinson: Oakland Raiders
  • Kona Schwenke: Kansas City Chiefs

And

TOMMY REES – Washington Redskins – This will be a tough haul for Rees as he’s behind RG III, Kirk Cousins and Colt McCoy.

While not impossible, it really is difficult for free agents to make final rosters. Of the above I would guess Schwenke has the best shot at making it.
