Brian Kelly is bringing 5 new assistants as well as a new Strength Coach:
- Matt Balis: worked for Diaco at UConn as a Strength Coach
- Brian Polian: Special Teams Coach
- Mike Elko: DC from Wake Forest
- Clark Lea: LB coach from Wake Forest
- Chip Long: TE coach
- Del Vaughn Alexander: WR coach from Arizona State
Holdovers:
- Todd Lyght: DB’s
- Mike Elston: moving to DL
- Harry Hiestand: OL Coach
- Autry Denson: RB’s Coach
So that will be it unless approval given that schools can now have a total of 10.
Tommy Rees’s name has been bandied about to come aboard as the QB Coach.
