Fall Camp Ends

Friday’s practice session ended the fall camp for the ND football team. Next week they go into preparation for Texas.

Of note at the end of camp is Devin Butler coming in as CB when KV Russell moves to the nickel position.

Making the most noise was the rise of Tori Hunter who may have jumped Amir Carlisle at the slot position. As expected Q. Nelson locked up the LG slot and Kizer the number 2 QB.

Wishar seems to have pulled even with Smythe at TE with Alize Jones just about promised playing time.

WR’s – obviously Fuller but Chris Brown had a great camp. Tori Hunter will play a lot followed by Robinson CJ Sanders and St. Brown.

Schmidt and Jaylon Smith are obvious starters and when ND switches to the 3-4 Martini is rising.

So now it’s just fine tuning but I sure do wish Jarron Jones was available especially when we usually lose a DL or two vs. cut blocking option teams.

Right now, I thing the most important games outside of the opener who I worry about are: Georgia Tech, Pitt and Boston College.
