Commit Number Five For 2016 Class

Julian Okwara is a 4 Star 6’4″ 220lb DE from North Carolina and he becomes ND’s 5th commit for 2016.

This one was really no surprise as he follows his brother – senior Romeo to South Bend.

I think this will be a rather small class. Probably around 17 as a result of the big 2015 class unless some of current players transfer out.

This is the toughest on 5th year players as ND has to pare it down by at least 3 this year.

Possibilities of who will be out:

• Baratti – bad shoulders
• Hounshell – also has bad shoulders and he’s trying to hang on after switching to TE
• Mike Heuerman – can’t gain weight nor strength

The only good thing is the 5th year guys get that ND diploma.
