Ara- Parseghian

Ara Parseghian compiled a 95-14-4 record in his 10 years at ND and tacked on 2 National Championships. His 1966 Team was one of college footballs all time greats – came from behind to tie Michigan State 10-10 then trounced USC.

While most fans remember the great battles with USC, Ara played 2 great games against the University of Texas in the Cotton Bowl – won 1 and lost one.

Ara came to ND in 1964 when ND Football was at perhaps its lowest point. QB John Huarte won the Heisman that year and they came 1 loss shy of a National Championship when they were cheated out of a win at USC.

The ND 2017 team will honor him by having ARA on the front of their helmets.

ND also opened up FALL CAMP this week. Here is a clip of them running around. You are not going to get anymore than this. You will just have to wait for the Temple game to see what they have.
